URGENT TRAVEL ADVISORY: Turnpike Plans Intermittent Stoppages During Westmoreland County Bridge Removal Harrisburg, PA -- Pennsylvania Turnpike traffic stoppages will occur as follows: DATE: Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28, weather permitting. TIME: Intermittent traffic stoppages of no longer than 15 minutes duration each between 1 p.m. and 9 a.m. LOCATION: Eastbound only; Milepost 90 between the Donegal Interchange (#9) and New Stanton Interchange (#8) in Westmoreland County. LANES CLOSED: All lanes, eastbound, during stoppages. TRAFFIC DELAY: Potentially brief delays during stoppages. PROJECT: The traffic stoppages are for the removal of parts of the overhead bridge at Milepost 90. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION IN THIS AREA REMEMBER TO GIVE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE HIGHWAY WORKERS A BRAKE.
