TRAVEL ADVISORY:
Traffic Stoppage Near Norristown Interchange

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists that on Tuesday, October 10 at 10 p.m., in the vicinity of milepost 333 (located at the Norristown Interchange Exit 25), both east and westbound traffic on the Turnpike’s mainline will be stopped for approximately 15 minutes. Crews will be installing electrical lines across the highway. At 11 p.m., all traffic entering and exiting the Norristown Interchange will be stopped for approximately 15 minutes while the electric lines at the interchange are installed. Because traffic cannot enter the Turnpike for that period of time, traffic on Germantown Avenue may be affected. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND DRIVE WITH CAUTION WHEN APPROACHING THIS PORTION OF THE TURNPIKE.
