TRAVEL ADVISORY:
REPLACEMENT OF OVERHEAD BRIDGE WILL REQUIRE INTERMITTENT 
TRAFFIC STOPPAGES ON TURNPIKE MAINLINE NEAR DONEGAL

Intermittent traffic stoppages lasting no more than 15 minutes will occur between 6 AM and noon Tuesday, Sept. 12, weather permitting, relative to replacement of an overhead bridge 1.6 miles east of the Donegal interchange (Exit #9) in eastern Westmoreland County.

The stoppages are necessary so that construction crews can erect steel girders for the new bridge, which will carry State Route 2031 over the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Milepost 92.3.

All eastbound and westbound lanes will be affected.
