TRAVEL ADVISORY:
Single Lane Closures Near Downingtown Interchange

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists that beginning Monday, August 21 through the end of September, there will be varying single lane patterns both east and westbound from milepost 306 (located six miles west of the Downingtown Interchange Exit # 23) to milepost 312 located at the Downingtown Interchange, due to roadway repairs and re-paving.

AUGUST RESTRICTIONS: Monday through Thursday, single lane patterns eastbound between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.; westbound from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. On Fridays there will be single lane patterns from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. eastbound and 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. westbound.

SEPTEMBER RESTRICTIONS: Monday through Thursday, there will be single lane patterns eastbound 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; westbound around the clock, with the exception of rush hour, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. On Fridays, there will be single lane patterns eastbound from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and westbound and 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.

There will be no restrictions on Saturdays and Sundays.

MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE EXTRA CAUTION WHEN APPROACHING AND RIDING THROUGH CONSTRUCTION ZONES.
