TRAFFIC ADVISORY:
SINGLE-LANE PATTERNS, BRIEF STOPPAGES SCHEDULED 
FOR OVERHEAD BRIDGE WORK ON PA. TURNPIKE

Single-lane traffic patterns on the Interstate 76/I-70 mainline in eastern Westmoreland County will be in effect Sunday evening until midday Friday over the next two weeks for the removal of overhead bridges at Milepost 92.3 and Milepost 93.2. The work area is between the Donegal (Exit #9) and Somerset (Exit #10) interchanges.

Eastbound and westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 9 pm Sunday, May 7 until noon Friday, May 12 and from 9 pm Sunday, May 14 until noon Friday, May 19. During those periods, occasional traffic stoppages also will be necessary. They will last no longer than 15 minutes.

No lane restrictions or traffic stoppages relating to this bridge work are scheduled for the weekend of May 12-14 (noon Friday until 9 pm Sunday).
