TRAVEL ADVISORY:
PERIODIC LANE CLOSURES EXPECTED AT
PA TURNPIKE'S DELAWARE RIVER BRIDGE INTERCHANGE (Exit #30)

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is advising customers in the Philadelphia region that at 10 p.m. Sunday, August 8, toll plaza construction will begin at the Delaware River Bridge Interchange (Exit #30). Customers should expect delays due to periodic lane closures for the next three (3) weeks.

Contractors will be cutting into existing concrete and pouring new concrete at the toll collection islands to install conduit as part of an overall upgrade to the Turnpike's Fare Collection system.

Motorists using the Delaware River Bridge Interchange can expect delays resulting from lane closures while this work is being done.
