TRAVEL ADVISORY:
EVENING SINGLE LANE TRAFFIC PATTERNS
PA TURNPIKE'S DELAWARE RIVER BRIDGE (Exit 30)

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is advising motorists that on Thursday, July 22 and Friday, July 23 and between Monday, July 26 through Friday, July 30 motorists can expect single lane closures both east and westbound, evenings between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on the Delaware River Bridge (Exit 30) connecting the Pennsylvania Turnpike with the New Jersey Turnpike.

Construction workers will be pouring concrete. Contractors are working on redecking and rehabilitation of the 43-year old bridge. This is the second phase of a $17 million dollar project to rehabilitate the Pennsylvania portion of the bridge. The second phase is expected to be completed by August 2000.

DURING CONSTRUCTION, THE TURNPIKE WILL MAINTAIN TWO LANES OF TRAFFIC BOTH EAST AND WESTBOUND DURING PEAK TRAFFIC HOURS, AND ON HOLIDAYS
