TRAVEL ADVISORY:
SINGLE LANE TRAFFIC PATTERNS BETWEEN THE
WILLOW GROVE AND FORT WASHINGTON INTERCHANGES

Philadelphia, PA -- The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists that beginning Monday, July 12 through Wednesday, September 1 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., there will be single lane patterns east and westbound between the Fort Washington (Exit # 26) and Willow Grove (Exit #27) Interchanges due to roadway resurfacing. ALTHOUGH THERE ARE NORMALLY SIX LANES IN THIS AREA, MOTORISTS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT EAST AND WESTBOUND TRAFFIC WILL BE REDUCED TO TWO LANES IN EACH DIRECTION AFTER 8 P.M. AND TO ONE LANE IN EACH DIRECTION AFTER 10 P.M.

DRIVERS ARE URGED TO USE EXTRA CAUTION WHEN APPROACHING THE CONSTRUCTION AREA AND TO REMAIN ALERT TO NEW TRAFFIC PATTERNS.
