TRAFFIC ADVISORY:
GILL HALL ROAD IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY REDUCED TO A SINGLE LANE

A quarter-mile section of Gill Hall Road (State Route 3017) in Jefferson Hills Borough, Allegheny County, from Ridge Road to a point north of Monticello Manor Hotel, will be reduced to a single lane effective Tuesday, June 1.

The single-lane pattern will be in place from 7 am to 6 pm Mondays through Fridays through September 1, 1999. Flag people at each end of the restricted area will control traffic flow.

The restrictions are necessary for drilling and grouting operations where dual bridges will be built to carry the Mon/Fayette Expressway over Gill Hall Road, and for ongoing utility relocations in the area.

Construction vehicles will be using Gill Hall Road to access two separate Mon/Fayette construction sections. Construction Section 52J is 1.8 miles long. Construction Section 52K totals 2.2 miles.

Motorists should be on alert for construction vehicles entering and exiting Gill Hall Road over the next two and a half years.
