TRAFFIC ADVISORY:
CHESS ROAD (TOWNSHIP ROAD 345) IN FAYETTE COUNTY
TO CLOSE FOR CONSTRUCTION NEXT WEEK

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will close a local road in the Haydentown/Ruble Mill area of Fayette County next week to allow for construction of the Mon/Fayette Expressway.

Georges Township Road 345 (Chess Road) will be closed between Pa. Route 857 and Georges Township Road 514 (Ondrejko Road) for approximately one month, effective Monday, April 19.

Traffic will be detoured to Georges Township Road 343 (Seghi Road), which intersects with Route 857 south of Chess Road’s intersection with Route 857, and from Seghi Road to Ondrejko Road. The length of the detour is approximately 3.2 miles.
