TRAFFIC ADVISORY:
TRAFFIC STOPPAGES FOR ROCK SCALING AT BEDFORD COUNTY RESCHEDULED

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is alerting motorists that the intermittent traffic stoppages at mileposts 152 to 154 for the scaling of rocks along the eastbound slope of the roadway, and for the saw cutting of the bridge running over the Turnpike at milepost 152 have been RESCHEDULED. The intermittent stoppages are scheduled for Tuesday March 23 and Thursday March 25, 1999.

The stoppages will take place between the Bedford (Exit 11) and Breezewood (Exit 12) Interchanges in Bedford County between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. Each stoppage will last no longer than 15 minutes in duration.

All lanes of traffic, both east and westbound will be subject to the stoppages. Turnpike travelers are advised to expect delays while traveling the Turnpike in this area. Motorists are also urged to use caution in this and all construction areas.
