SUGGESTED
ALTERNATE ROUTES

EASTBOUND TRAFFIC

Eastbound motorists wanting to avoid delays are encouraged to take the following alternate eastbound route: Exit the Turnpike at the Valley Forge Interchange (Exit #24) and take I-76 east for 4.8 miles to Route I-476 north. Drive 4.1 miles to the Mid-County Interchange (Exit #25-A) where you can re-enter the Turnpike. Follow the signs for New Jersey or the Northeast Extension.

Westbound motorists planning to exit at the Valley Forge Interchange may want to avoid possible delays at that interchange by exiting the Turnpike at the Norristown Interchange (Exit # 25)or the Mid-County Interchange (Exit # 25-A), taking Route I-476 south to I-76 west to Route 202.

WESTBOUND TRAFFIC

Westbound through-traffic should continue on the Turnpike without taking any detours.
