TURNPIKE TRAFFIC TO BE STOPPED AT MILEPOST 76
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is advising motorists of traffic delays due to stoppages in traffic on the Turnpike between the New Stanton (Exit 8) and Donegal (Exit 9) Interchanges in Westmoreland County on Wednesday, July 8, 1998, weather permitting. Traffic must be stopped for the removal of an overhead sign structure located at milepost 75.9.
All east and westbound traffic will be subject to intermittent stoppages at milepost 75.9 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. All stoppages will last no longer than 15 minutes each.
Motorists are encouraged to anticipate delays and to take needed precautions for their travels along the Turnpike this day. Motorists are also urged to use caution in this and all construction areas, and remember to give Pennsylvania Turnpike highway workers a "brake."
