CARROLL TOWNSHIP ROAD CLOSED
DUE TO MON-FAYETTE EXPRESSWAY CONSTRUCTION

Harrisburg, PA -- The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is alerting motorists that Taylors Run Road (S.R. 1020) between S.R. 0481 and Bogdan Road (T-882) in Carroll Township, Washington County will be closed on Monday, April 13, 1998, through Wednesday, July 1, 1998. Motorists will be detoured over S.R. 0481 and Coyle Curtain Road (S.R. 2025).

This section of Taylors Run Road will be closed due to construction of the Interstate 70 to Route 51 section of the Mon-Fayette Expressway Project. A new bridge will be constructed to carry Mon-Fayette Expressway traffic over Taylors Run Road.

Motorists are urged to use caution in this and all construction areas, and remember to give Pennsylvania Turnpike highway workers a "brake."
