TRAFFIC ADVISORY -- FULTON COUNTY
Harrisburg,
PA -- The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is advising motorists
of intermittent traffic stoppages at the Sideling Hill Service
Plaza (milepost 172.43), between the Breezewood (Exit 12) and
Fort Littleton (Exit 13) Interchanges in Fulton County for
Wednesday, June 4, 1997, weather permitting.
Both east and westbound
traffic will be affected by the intermittent stoppages between
the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 2 P.M. The stoppages will last no
longer than 15 minutes at a time. Travelers are advised to expect
delays and be alert for variable message signs cautioning
motorists. The stoppages are necessary for the erection of steel
girders for the bridge over the Turnpike at milepost 172.43.
The bridge carries
eastbound traffic to and from the Sideling Hill Service Plaza.
Motorists are urged to use caution in this area.
MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION IN THIS AREA AND REMEMBER TO GIVE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE HIGHWAY WORKERS A "BRAKE".
