TRAFFIC ADVISORY - NEW STANTON(EXIT(8) & DONEGAL EXIT(9)

       Harrisburg, PA - Traffic to be stopped in Westmoreland County. The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is advising motorists of intermittent traffic stoppages, weather permitting, at milepost 76.1 between the New Stanton (Exit 8) and Donegal (Exit 9) Interchanges. Traffic will be stopped between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. on each of the following days: Wednesday, May 14; Thursday, May 15; Monday, May 19 and Tuesday, May 20, 1997. The stoppages will last no longer than 15 minutes each and will affect all lanes of traffic for both east and westbound travelers. Motorists are encouraged to check variable message signs (vms) currently in place, advising travelers of delays. Traffic must be stopped for the removal of the bridge running over the Turnpike at milepost 76.1.
