SINGLE LANE CLOSURES SOUTHBOUND ON TURNPIKE'S NORTHEAST EXTENSION APPROACHING THE JUNCTION

       The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists that beginning on Thursday, May 8 at 9 a.m. till Friday, May 9 at 6 a.m. there will be a single lane traffic pattern southbound on the Northeast Extension for a 1/2 mile at milepost A-3.6, approximately 3 1/2 miles prior to the NE junction. The closures are due to to the installation of construction barrier in preparation for the installation of the Turnpike's state-of-the-art Highway Advisory Radio and Variable Message Sign system.

MOTORISTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REMAIN ALERT AND AWARE OF THE SIGNING WHICH INDICATES THE LANE CLOSURES.
