SINGLE LANE CLOSURES EASTBOUND NEAR VALLEY FORGE INTERCHANGE
The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists that beginning at 9 A.M. on Thursday, May 8 until 7 A.M. Friday, May 9 and between 9 A.M. and 3 P.M. on Friday May 9 there will be a single lane pattern eastbound at milepost 323 approximately 3 miles prior to the Valley Forge Interchange (exit 24). Lane closures are due to the installation of construction barrier on the shoulder in preparation for the installation of the Turnpike's new state-of-the art Highway Advisory Radio and Variable Message Sign system.
TWO LANES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO TRAFFIC DURING THE RUSH HOURS ON FRIDAY FROM 7 A.M. to 9 A.M. and after 3 P.M.
IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER: THE WORK WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY, MAY 12 UNTIL TUESDAY, MAY 13.
MOTORISTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REMAIN ALERT AND AWARE OF THE SIGNING WHICH INDICATES THE LANE CLOSURES.
