TRAFFIC ADVISORY - NEW STANTON EXIT #8
New Stanton, PA -- The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is issuing a traffic advisory for Tuesday, March 25, 1997 between 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., weather permitting.
Traffic will be stopped in both directions at the New Stanton Interchange (Exit # 8) on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Westmoreland County.
Both east and westbound lanes will be closed while construction crews set in place steel girders for the overhead bridge carrying the eastbound Turnpike traffic to and from the New Stanton Interchange at milepost 75.2. The intermittent stops will last no longer than 15 minutes each.
Motorists are urged to use caution in this area, and remember to give Pennsylvania Turnpike workers a "brake".
