LANE CLOSURES PLANNED ON PA TURNPIKE'S NORTHEASTERN EXTENSION

        PHILADELPHIA -- The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is advising motorists that beginning Monday, October 7 and lasting through the end of November 1996, between 6 A.M. Mondays through 3 P.M. Fridays at milepost A-32.5 on the Northeastern Extension (four miles south of the Lehigh Valley Interchange, Exit # 33), north and southbound single lane closures will occur with the exception of all southbound lanes opening from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. daily. Turnpike crews are erecting barrier and fences to enhance slope protection.

MOTORISTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REMAIN ALERT AND AWARE OF SIGNING WHICH INDICATED THE LANE CLOSURES

ALL LANES WILL BE OPEN WEEKDAYS AND HOLIDAYS
